Cynthia Seeyian

Cynthia is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya practicing in the Real Estate, Conveyancing, and Banking & Securities Department.

She has experience in advising on property transactions, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing conveyancing and securities documentation, and managing transaction completion processes. Her practice includes advising clients on land acquisitions, leases, transfers, charges, and regulatory compliance within the Kenyan property and banking sectors.

Prior to her current role, she trained and served as a Holding Over Advocate at McKay & Company LLP, where she gained practical experience in conveyancing transactions, banking securities, and client advisory. She is recognized for her strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills, as well as her commercially focused and detail-oriented approach to legal practice.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the University of Nairobi – School of Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (Advocates Training Programme) from the Kenya School of Law. She has also undertaken professional certifications in Dispute Resolution & Mediation, Copyright, and Data Privacy & Protection from the Dialogue & Dispute Resolution Institute, Privacy Hub Africa, and Strathmore University.
