Peter is a Senior Partner within the Firm. He possesses great experience commercial and corporate transactions. Peter has an unmatched depth of expertise across various legal disciplines and is praised by clients for his hands-on approach to complex and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions. He renders innovative and practical solutions to our clients and is a key cog of the Firm’s meteoric rise. He has been recognised as an industry leader in commercial law in the East African region by the African Business Excellence Awards, an awards program that showcases and casts the spotlight on dedicated entrepreneurs and innovative professionals, whose work and determination contributes to the development of enterprise in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) market.
He has advised on some of the most transformative and disruptive transactions in Kenya and continues to cement his sound reputation as a highly sought-after progressive counsel. Peter holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Cumbria (UK), a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nairobi and a post graduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. Peter is a management consultant and a member of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) – UK and is a fellow at the Mandela Washington. Peter continues to build capacity and knowledge in contemporary corporate and commercial developments and has a keen interest in infrastructure and energy projects, particularly renewable energy, financial technology and capital markets.
